Big problems here.
The parking area at the top of the track had been freshly planted so obviously not available for parking. The track down to the lower parking area close to the fishing was terribly overgrown. The river bank was really overgrown too and there was not one place where you could get to the river. It took an hour and a half to clear a path through it all to make a small area to fish from. I’d say that no attempt had been made by the fishery owner to provide or maintain any access to the fishing area.
It makes me wonder if the Wye and Usk Foundation actually do anything to check up or inspect any of the beats they offer. I realise that there are limitations to what work can be carried out on the river banks but when a beat is so overgrown that you can’t even get anywhere near the water over the whole length of the beat you have to wonder what it is you’re paying for.

Went for the perch but unfortunately didn't catch one,had 2 big chub and 17 chublets,chopped worm and Castor and ground bait plus luncheon meat,caught mostly on meat,was a cracking day weather wise,and the flow was perfect for trotting,a very deep stretch
