Windy, a bit wet and wild. Fish taking close to the bank, as usual.

Great place to fish for wildies - wind was very strong which did not help us but its a value for money day- just try to catch the better weather as it is very open on the mountains

Mist rolled in from early on in the day and became impossible to see the lake hence had to abandon the fishing which was a shame as it has been good in the past

Low cloud covered the mountain for much of the morning, dense enough to block the view to the opposite shore and rain fell until midday. It didn't stop me from catching a very decent brown of around one and a half lbs, caught on a fly called a te-he. The cloud lifted around midday and the sun came out, allowing me to switch to a black dry sedge. I had plenty of interest from the resident browns, but due to the length of cast, found it difficult to strike at the right moment.
Spent most of the day at Egnant and some of the day on Teifi. Beautiful area, worth the 112 mile drive from home, to mix it with the elements and the red kites.
Fish returned.
