Approximately 1 mile of right bank fishing just upstream of Hereford. Perryhill Fishery receives very little angling pressure and, as a result, the beat is very much in its natural state. The beat will not suit everyone, particularly those who enjoy beats with easy access. However, those who enjoy fishing unspoilt rivers and who are prepared to negotiate barbed wire, steep banks and high vegetation (particularly in summer) will have no problem finding suitable areas from which to fish. Parking is located a few hundred yards from the river bank and there are barbed wire fences to keep cattle from the river banks. The coarse fishing in this part of the Wye is as good as it gets so the walk should be worthwhile! Chub and barbel are prolific, along with some huge pike. There is also some superb trotting water for dace and roach.
Surrounded by stunning Herefordshire countryside, Perryhill is a challenging destination, ideal for the more adventurous angler. Once on the bank, the fishing is first class.
Block Booking is availble on this beat. You can book all the tickets available (sometimes at a discounted price). You can only fish up to the maximum daily number of people allowed for that type of fishing.
