Just over ½ a mile of left bank fishing on the middle Wye close to Fawley Court, this beat has a very rural feel to it. Set back from any nearby roads, this stretch meanders through the Hereford countryside offering some excellent fishing.
With distinct bends in the river this beat offers a good variety of waters to try, and at a variety of heights. Access is good, but when wet will require a walk of approx 500m to the river. All of the usual Wye species are here, including Salmon, Barbel and Chub.
A mixture of waters, the beat has sections suitable for various methods, including trotting for dace and chub. The slow, deeper sections will also be good winter piking spots.
The beat is due to be extended further in the early part of 2018 and will open up Salmon fishing opportunities.
