Two thirds of a mile of double bank fishing between Backney and Foy a few miles upstream of Ross on Wye. Set in beautiful Herefordshire countryside, with good numbers of all the usual Wye coarse species, this will soon become a favourite for anglers fishing through the Passport. Taking in Pulpit pool and Church Stream pool, the salmon fishing can prove very productive at the right levels, with varied wading over some gravel but with good bank access for the spinner. Access to the right bank is easy, with safe parking and a short walk (300m) across the floodplain. The island and the left bank are only fishable to wading anglers - this is a worthwhile exercise but anglers should always take care when wading.

As St Marys Church has kindly offered use of the car park, visiting anglers are asked to consider a small donation. There is an offertory box in the nave of the church for visitors and the Church is open between 10am to dusk. Donation can also be made online at St Mary's of Foy

During the summer months, the lower field of the beat is let to caravans, so exclusivity is not guaranteed for that field, but otherwise as normal for the rest of the beat.
