Fished between 11am and 5:30pm. 1 Barbel, 7 Chub and 1 Eel. All fish caught touch legering and rolling meat. Two additional Barbel managed to slip the hook. First time fishing the River Wye.

Late afternoon evening session weather mixture of sun and clouds river very low and clear,fished groundbait feeder with meat on the hook the barbel weighed 4lb,8lb,8lb8oz and 9lb8oz the chub was around 3lb and the other was a perch of about a pound.

Water very warm. Fish not feeding heavily.
Caught on meat - 2 chub but the swim containing a fallen tree was very snaggy.
Would also state on a Sunday lots of canoeing causing winding in .

Managed a small pike first thing however there were signs of them starting to spawn once the day warmed up so I packed up and left them to it. Fingers crossed I’ll be back again next winter.

One bite, a jack of about 7lb early on. Tried multiple spots but very slow going.
