Slightly overcast day only fished the one field below coombe bridge ,as jungle further down Hooked and lost 1 trout on adams parachute of reasonable size missed a couple more Nice way to spend a couple of hours

Carried on where I left off yesterday. Not warm and an upstream breeze made things a little tricky. But I managed a few by the end, half on dries, half on nymphs.

Fished midday until dusk. Overcast and windy at times but the trout were rising throughout the day. Hatches of yellow may dun, LDOs, BWOs and the odd mayfly. All fish taken on dries - olive CDC Emerger and parachute Adam’s the most effective. Best fish around 19 inches / 2.5lb.
