A tricky tricky tricky few hours onnz local favourite stretch !!! The Hundred House beat is mega low ..Stealth is absolutely key to success here, and all the streams in fairness .....
Fished from half eleven, till half two, seriously tough today. I dipped with the thermometer, just fof interest reading 12 degrees !!! Very cool in fact ....
Dry fly sport at thf heads of the tiny pools i could manage not to spook the fush lol !!!
Great fun as always, four small chaps to the net, and a futher two thst kindly released themselves!!! So gracious!!!!! Six of sevennjnch fish, good aggressive takes to thr dry though ....lovely stuff !!
I'd highly recommend a stream carrying a good bit of water, like the Hindwell @Knill or Coombe at the moment....That's a fun stream, but get the right time of day to fish it though for success!!!
Right, onwards and upwards .... ohhhh did see another mink ...he needs thinning out, I'll get on the case ....Another great little sortie on an.old favourite ..... lovely job!!!!

water low as expected. No fly life to see, and minimal rises over the two hours I was on the water. Two fished hooked and lost, but I'm getting old I guess. Parachute adams.

Micro flies did the business but sadly lost cost me a sewin! Can see why the grayling fishing is highly rated here too. Nice spot
