River was low and in places quite sluggish for the fly. However, there were some nice pools to fish. It would have been useful to have more detailed notes of pools to fish and where these pools are. A nice day out on a new bit of water. Plenty of coloured fish showing and moving through the beat.

7LB Cock (5pm) & 6LB Hen (6pm), both coloured fish, Yellow & Black 1/2" tube.

2 Salmon

Wonderful beat with salmon moving throughout. The whole river system was low however we started to get bites at dusk with 1 rod catching a brace of barbel over 8lbs. Great day!

Poor day, not even a bite, although first time we fished this venue. Conditions not easy (sunny, clear,low water).
Fished beats 3, 4 and 5 did a lot of walking, nice place as expected but long drive home.

Saw fish on both beat 2 and beat 3 but failed to catch anything.

Beautiful beat, beautiful day, blank. Operator error.

River in great condition now. Salmon showing on all the beats. Bright sunshine didn't help yesterday but Tim Kelly hooked a lost a good fish on beat 6. Two weeks left so more fish expected.

Ten pound hen fish from No 3 on size 10 Irish Gold shrimp double, hooked at 1855 on what was meant to be last casts of the day.Netted in the dusk
