Slightly overcast but fine day with perfect water but the fish obviously thought otherwise. Not a nibble all day.
Spectacular bird life all day including a small flock of 10 Jays flying quite high for this species; They came back later on, going upstream over the river, again quite high up & trying to keep up with a small bunch of woodpigeons. Not seen this behaviour before? Kites by the dozen as there was some cultivating & drilling going on on the opposite bank.
Lovely day day to be doing very little. Thanks WUF.

Great day on a wonderful river, sadly the pike were not interested. The lock on the gate does not close.

also lost a big salmon looked around 15lb+

Great end to an amazing week, p.b wye barbel 10.2 to finish the week and clonking chub thanks again Terry and the wonderful wye. Can't wait to come back.

3 Barbel, 6 Chub

A fantastic day on a wonderful beat. Both Barbel were 6-7 lb and several Chub to 5lb. One barbel fell to meat and the other a krill pellet. Feeder and pva bag methods both worked well.
The river was in good shape having benefited from rain earlier in the week. Lots of bird life including kingfishers, red kite and woodpeckers. Note to the estate. The padlock on the entrance gate does not lock.

The wye has served us another magnificent day ! Most fish caught afternoon ish on pellet and halibut boilies on feeder rig when river level dropping

River was high and coloured but enjoyed the day both anglers caught.
