5 Barbel, 3 Chub

Water still abit 'tainted' but a good height, and bright sun pm. saw one fish move but couldn't be tempted !

Very enjoyable day, one kayak seen which is always a bonus.

Don't forget like what I did to contact Terry prior to fishing, several times I've been here but forgot this once.

Will be back again next year.

Lovely day, most fish very early in the day or late. Loads of salmon jumping too. Biggest barbel around 9lb

1 Trout, 5 Barbel, 12 Chub

Glorious 16th of June on a beautiful beat on the Wye which was in good condition and through out 3 barbel to 8lb, 6 good chub and a few smaller ones. Great advice from Terry made this a memorable trip - we will return.

3 Barbel, 10 Chub

5 chub and one barbel, fishing slowed after 3pm... A great day on a lovely beat free from traffic noise and very tranquil. Incredible wildlife and friendly keepers. Thank you very much... we really appreciate you allowing well behaved dogs, our terrier sits quietly with us all day.... thanks again.

1 Barbel, 5 Chub

A wonderful day on a beautiful river. Sadly, the chub were rather more active than the trout were in the morning, but we did have some success in the afternoon on beat 3.

Still, the highlight of the day was seeing two different salmon leaps, the first time I’ve ever seen a river run salmon! What a delight. I’m glad there’s enough water for them given the recent conditions and hopefully I’ll see them again some day.

1 Trout, 1 Grayling

2 Salmon parr, 1 small chub and 4 trout 3 of which were about 1lb. Fished beat 2 where there is still some depth and flow in places although quite a tinge on the water (from the algae?) Very Sporadic hatch of upwinged olives during the afternoon and evening. And a reasonable hatch of caddis about 8pm. 1 trout caught on a snipe and purple all of the other fish on an Endrick spider. Must have lost 5 trout - all of which were a good size.
