Just one take all day on a March Brown. Estimate around 3lb or more, but it broke the line (near a barbless hook, so I hope now rid of the fly). Otherwise no sign of fish. Fly life also quite sparse - some grannom, but far fewer than the description in the latest Newsletter where we were.

No trout caught, water levels seemed too low. Lovely to be on the river though! Very little fly life observed. A good day, even if no fish where taken.
