Water quite low, very clear. Started at 7am. Overcast and cool to start with becoming clearer and warmer as morning progressed. Caught 1 x WBT on an EHC dry with orange body. Missed one other on a medium olive dry. Nothing else moved in a 7 hr session. Beautiful stretch of river with loads to explore.

Nothing caught but stunning beat, if a little busy with passing walkers, dog walkers, kids. We have caught decent trout here before, just not today!

Couldn't cope with the rain and rocks - age and knees! So abandoned any fishing. 2 years of Covid have hugely reduced fitness to fish - a lesson to the disabled to go for easiest access and keep at it!
