Very clear water, on a cloudy day with sunny spells.
Good beat, very scenic, some fish rising one of which I managed to get! Good access to the water but parking is a bit on an issue, there were a few walkers with over exited dogs but on the whole it was quiet, however I have a feeling that this beat would be busy during the holiday season or Bank holidays.
Back to the fishing, 1 small trout caught on a Klinkhammer, tried Klink n dink, and north country spiders.

River was falling after a rise, was still quite coloured, which made wading a little more difficult. Tried, floating, intermediate and sinking tips with a variety of flies. Also fished downstream and across spinner, again with a variety of lures.
Saw plenty of trout, also saw an Otter whilst fishing the Hut pool.
Lovely stretch, good access, will return for another go, maybe take the trout rods next time too.

Raise in river levels very welcome, with trout responding well to nymph.

Lots of fish rising and a few hatches throughout the day but didn't manage to connect with any fish. Still, a beautiful beat and a great day on the river.

Conditions remain tough with low water but managed to find some smaller brownies up to 1.5lb on nymphs (in some of the deeper pools) and dries once the hatch came on around 7pm.
