Very quite day, one knock no fish, didnt see any either. Nothing rising, cloudy & rainy conditions, very disappointed. Both fished from 10.30-6pm. Tried everything...

Beautiful day to be on the river but not a lot of action to be had. There was a reasonable amount of insect life but not really any rising interest. Tried with some PT nymphs and March browns / grannums. One tug on a nymph but nothing landed! Lovely spot, will be back

Little showing, little hatching. River rising, rain falling. Very cool 5 degree C air temp. Only interest of the day was watching an otter along the bottom section of the beat.
