First of five days fishing on WUF waters. The river looked quite low but still fished well enough. We ended up with 3 barbel and 25 chub, all caught on pellets and boillies. All in all a very enjoyable day.

Fishing poor, could do with a map marking good spots as one day fishing is no time to learn where to fish.

A very nice fishery with a lot of swims to choose from. The river level was dropping with colour coming out. We ended up with 5 barbel 4lb to 8lb 3oz & 6 chub.
Thanks to WUF we will be back.

One Barbel and 7 Chub caught, all were in good condition and of varying sizes. All of the fish were caught on boilies and pellets and released after capture. Fishing was slow as the river was quite high.

This was our first time at this beat, the location and surroundings were stunning, the river looked perfect so expectations were high. We walked down to the bottom of the beat and fished a couple of swims just before the bend. Excellent start, I caught 2 barbel in the first hour 1 at 6lb and the other about 8lb. Then it switched off for the rest of the day. We fished 8 swims between us. J managed to find the odd barbel from a couple of swims. It wasnt untill the last hour that the barbel switched on again. J ended with 6 barbel to 8lb and I only had the 2 barbel from the first swim in the morning. Very very hard going, can't explain it. Maybe we copped it on a bad day. Thank you WUF for excellent service.

A tricky day with the river high and coloured following heavy rain the previous day. In the circumstances, a catch of 7 barbel to 6lbs and 2 chub was a good return for a day under the brolley.

1 rod blanked the other rod caught 2 barbel, biggest 7lbs & 2 chub. All fish caught on robin red pellet. It was hard to locate fish despite trying 10 swims between us on a day which looked ideal conditions but thats fishing I guess. Will be back soon.
