Another great day - trotting with pellets - lots of chub and a nice barbel - a very well kept beat - a big thank you to Colin for keeping it so nice.

A great days fishing - all the fish caught on the float using corn, pellets and bread. All the fish seemed to be in one or two swims near the end of the beat, probably after spawning.

Jack Pike and Shad for Tomasz G. and Chub, Perch, Shad for Robert. Lovely day fishing but no Salmon had been encountered.

Mostly 2 inch cascade tube on a 15ft fast sink tip
River a bit full having risen 6 inches overnight.
Nothing seen

The river had come up in the night and continued to rise for the 5 hours we fished for which was a waste of time when the river is cold and rising the fish shut up shop. Don’t think I’ll be booking again this time of year

The river was carrying extra water today which was a lot colder than it has been for a long time. It also rose a little during the day this also didn’t help things so despite our best effort we were never going to catch a lot. This is a beautiful part of the Wye just a shame the fishing didn’t match the scenery
