To anyone who hasn't finished this beat before 17 chub would seem a good result. However having enjoyed the incredible chub fishing HL3 normally provides I'm a little concerned for the state of the river.

River was racing through, could only hold on the inside for most of the day. Lost a lot of tackle due to the pace of the river.
sadly only managed 3 barbel and 4 chub between us.

As the river started to rise rapidly the fishing died out sadly.
