River fished hard with rising water and a lot of debris and blanket weed coming down the river. Managed 3 barbel out to 7lb which was good considering The conditions. Access was decent and not too much foot traffic from the public.

A well managed section of river with plenty of area's to access the water. River conditions were difficult and rising. Heavy leads or feeders were needed to hold. Conditions were more favourable at the upstream area.

First time fishing this beat nice and easy to get to , loads of room to park your vehicle and lots of river to cover , that much I didn’t know where to start ! The weather was dreadful for the first half of the day but gradually improved . I started at the top end of the beat with the shallow gravel banks but was unsuccessful, so moved back to the fishing hut for the evening session , finally got some action which saved a blank day .
Great beat with lots of options , will be back to explore some more
