Bloody hot and not a lot of fish moving around. Didn’t have a bite in the top section even though some of the swims screamed barbel. I caught all my fish in the lower section after fighting my way through the undergrowth.. Even had a eel.

Had an early start due to hot weather and managed 3 Barbel before 9 am when things went very quiet, returned around 6 pm and caught a nice 4 lbs Chub and another Barbel. Fished towards the top of the beat.Barbel were around 6-8 lbs. Looking forward to returning here in September.
