River up 3/4 foot and fallen. Most bites came afternoon. Lovely stretch plenty of pegs to go at

Fished the bottom field and what a difference a day and change of swims can make, river was still dropping but the barbel
had switched off and the chub on. Had 5 between 3=5lb same tactics as Friday

We caught 11 Barbel & 16 Chub, last day of this trip back in October.

Fished the top field, river was dropping back quickly and Barbel were on the munch.
fish caught on boilies and meat with Soaked pellets in feeder.

What a difference a day makes ! River falling rapidly and the barbel were on the feed, 12 Barbel to 10lb 10oz and a single Chubb bang on 5lb. Pellet and feeder accounted for all fish, a very big thank you to Stefan who made sure we were on the fish and knew how to tempt them.

River continued to rise steadily from the previous day. Only stopped rising at about 17:00 just below the top of the bank. Holding bottom with 6-8oz leads just off the slacks.
11 Barbel and 2 Chub caught. If you could find them they were still feeding. Excellent couple of days on this very consistent and well managed beat.

Caught the rising river and rewarded with 43 Barbel and 21 chub between the 4 of us. Excellent day all around.
The 1 other was an Eel.

Great day on the Wye despite the wet weather and strong winds,Barbel fed from mid afternoon onwards with the biggest just over 8 lbs,also some nice Chub showing on this beat,looking forward to returning here.
