day 2, much slower and the water had fallen at least a meter overnight, much tougher conditions, but we managed 4 chub up to 5lb,

First day of 2, river had risen nicely overnight, did not catch in the morning but a change of location in the afternoon proved a good move, and we had 7 barbel and 2 chub up to 10lb, all on boilie and feeder method, great days fishing and a lovely location as always!

River rising rapidly. No bites.

River up and fish were on the feed.

3 Barbel, 5 Chub

Slow day, river low and didn’t start rising till early evening. 1 barbel of 9lb caught late on, another lost at a similar time. Plenty of chub activity but mostly small fish, some between 2 and 4lb. Other barbel a small fish of 1lb.

Tough day, river low canoe traffic heavy lack of barbel. Just a few Chubb between the two of us
