Did not fish due to river level

fished the only pool I could and fished hard no luck

River very coloured, 1’9 and maybe 2’ visibility.
Gave it a go as I had driven up, heavy tubes and fast sink tips but no salmon seen.

Lovely beat, unfortunately no fish seen or caught ,

Fished the evening only.
Plenty of fish rising, especially in the bridge pool and Mill pool.
Great fun, nicely strimmed path s on lower section.

Evening session.
Trout to half a pound but plenty of them.
I'll be back.

Had a couple of hours in afternoon, nothing seen or caught

Fished Rectory Pool and Pot.
River level still high and coloured but reducing from recent peak. Bank fishing with no takes on a variety of nymphs.
Will be back when there is less gusty wind and where wading is possible.

Went up but the river was still soil laden and unfishable.
