8lb cock fish starting to colour up on Bann Shrimp from the gravel catch

1 Salmon

Colouring cock of approx 13lbs from half way down Glangwy on a Red Frances. It had shunned my Willie Gunn tube first time down. No takers from the Run apart from a fantastic 2lb grayling.

My son and I fished the beat in what I thought were good water conditions but unfortunately did not connect with a fish and only one fish showed, below the Rocks
This is the second time to fish The Rectory so hope it will become a regular beat for me.

Very low water level - had some fun with small trout as salmon not cooperating

I saw some salmon had been jumping but no luck unfortunately. Will try again.

Tried hard to tempt fish showing in a couple of pools but they seemed to be completely switched off in low water conditions. Thank you.

8lb fish taken from the millstream on fly another lost off the rocks
