Caught on Fly, by Alex Pearce in the Rock Pool. Estimated size between 12lbs and 15lbs.

1 Salmon

Water at a lovely colour but keeping its height if not rising slightly. Quite a few yellow May's still coming off. Lump of a fish vaulted clean out of the water in the far tail of the Bridge pool. Tomorrow looks promising!

12lb hen salmon caught on a black Francis tube fly. Slightly coloured. Used a floating line with a 10 ft slow sinking polytip. River was high after recent rains, but clearing and decent visibility to around two foot. Fish kept in water to be unhooked and it swam away strongly when released.

water clearing nicely, will suit the boys who fish next week good luck to them. Nothing caught or seen

Nothing seen or caught another blank day.

Fished fly and spinner, fished hard no fish to show for effort, mill pool also drew a blank.

2 Trout

River high fished for a wee while but nothing saw two fish running.
