First time here, fished 1.30-5.30pm. Not easy with little rising, a difficult wind and the water low and still, but a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. We managed four between us, two on nymphs and two on dries, the better of which were one at 1.25lb and the lovely 16.5" fish pictured - we felt this was a reasonable result for the conditions! All returned.

Another hot sunny day and another blank. I fished the morning but only saw a couple of rises. Got hot, fed up and left by noon. Couldn't tempt the fish with anything.

all returned - most under 9" - lovely day - clouds and not too warm - some sun but soon went. Ideal.

Due to a number of reasons that delayed us, we didn't arrive at the fishery until 8 in the evening and only had just over 2 hrs fishing.

My first time on this beat. The sun was bright and the river low and slow so it was hard work. The occasional fish came up to investigate a passing dry fly. Things got a bit more animated during the last hour of daylight and one beautiful trout of about 12 ounces took my Adams and saved me the indignity of a blank

Water very low. Sporadic fly life. 3 on nymphs in faster water. 3 on Grey Wullfs.
