Very windy conditions, a hard (but enjoyable) days lure fishing. Between two anglers fishing from 08:30-18:00, we caught two rainbow trout and three brown trout (two undersized), plus two perch at dusk. We used a mixture of spinners, spoons, diving lipped minnows, and soft plastic swim baits. A beautiful water, very quiet (only saw a couple of other anglers), not much rubbish (though quite a lot of discarded mono line, why do they do it!?). Two fish taken.

Very hard days fishing. Last one for me this season and hoped to go out with a bang but not so lucky, the fish won.

Few fish caught around the banks on pop up worm. As for me, 1 rainbow caught on a spinner in 8hrs fishing all methods. Weather, drizzle all day.

A relaxing day as we were the only two at the water. Stiff cold breeze, tufted ducks but no fish seen or caught all day. Look forward to the next time.

Unusually, hard days fishing. Fished for 8 hrs, 1 rainbow, 1.5 lbs caught on pop up worm. Also tried bubble spinner and lures. Plenty of fish on surface but too far out for fly fishing off the bank. Weather - showers, heavy at times but warm for autumn.

Great days fishing. 6 good sized trout caught plus 3 perch. Pleasure to fish this reservoir.

All rainbow trout caught on lure and were all between 1 to 2 pound, also caught 2 small perch on worm on the bottom.
