No fish caught, I counted about 22 people fishing and no one as I watched all day caught any fish. The roads are full of pot holes round the reservoir making it harder to drive. Been going here for over 30 years, but not any more.

3 people fishing. Started at 8am and didn't have a touch until 4:30. Tried fly, spin, worm on surface and worm on bottom. At 4:30, hit a purple patch and had 6 fish between us. Partly made up for a poor day. As always, it was peaceful and the scenery is great but for the price of the ticket the fishing was a bit slow.

Wet fly, nymph. Cool and windy. No fish but Kites in the sky, wild orchids under a tree and a beautiful location. A lovely day out. I had my permit checked by a ranger, a thoroughly nice chap and a pleasure to chat to. A credit to his employers ....well done.
