Lovely active day up the Usk , used worms with bubble floats and ended up having a great day. The water was a bit murkey with some wind. Caught some lovely rainbows which all went back in safely after some recovery time in the net.

Caught 2 brown trouts and 2 rainbows. Lots of chase. Used a small sinking minnow that I usually use in chalk streams and good ol mepps.
Weather was pretty dreary and windy. It was really cold. This was my first time here in Usk. I accidentally bought 2 fishing tickets because my companion apparently bought his own without telling me.

I had a really beautiful day on the water. It was warm, sunny, and the fish were biting like crazy.?? I caught 12 beautiful trout, and 6 returned to the water in very good condition.
