best barbel weighed 11lb 5oz and chub 5lb 2oz all caught on feeder and 8mm pellet

3 anglers, an unsuccessful morning. But after lunch in the local pub and a change of swims the afternoon produced 2 barbel, 6.5lb, 7lb. And a 13.5lb pike.

We fished from 9am, heavy canoe traffic along with a few swimmers. Still we managed 8 barbel up to 10lb between us.

Caught one barbel on a feeder. No scales but definitely over 15 lb closer to 20 lb. river level was normal.

Fished from 3pm to 7.30pm had two fish early on Chub of 5lb 4oz .

Water level was low and was dissapointed at the lack of swim maintenance in the meadow area. Last year there was more options to fish but a lot of it is overgrown. Having said that, fished lower down and managed to bag 4 barbel 5lb & 6lb and two 8lbers so well happy. Taken on meat and boilies.

2 of us fishing 3 others fishing when we arrived and we had a job to find a swim all very overgrown and unfishable was a bit disappointed with the state of the swims in the meadow
