River in excellent condition, slightly up and coloured, but the fishing was slow. All the fish were caught on feeder and pellets. Don the fella that leases the stretch came down and was very helpful and informative.

Nothing today on what was a challenging day. Lovely stretch again on the Wye. Lots of Kayaks about which I can handle but when 6 people turn up and start swimming in the river just above you shouting their heads off I gave up.

Cooler day after recent hot weather and river in good condition. We fished the faster water in the bottom field and caught all our fish there. Best barbel was 9lb and fell to pellet. The upper stretch was tried but was unproductive due to low flow levels. In contrast to previous reports, we found the stretch easily following the instructions provided although there is no sign showing the anglers parking area.

We both blanked in thunder storms and heavy rain for most of the day. This was our first time on this stretch and we fished the upper section. We found the swim choice limited, and in wet conditions the steep high banks made reaching the swims treacherous. A disappointing day.

Another great day on the beat. The river was just fining down and still had colour. Some good barbel caught to 7lbs.
Barbel fed best at the normal 2 hrs before dusk.

Brilliant days fishing I (John Purvey) had 10 barbel to a pb 10lb 4oz plus 7 of the fish were 7lb plus and 3 chub to 4lb and my mate Ashlee Sherman had 2 barbel, one at 6lb and the other at 11lb 4oz and a pb for him! River was carrying extra water and very coloured and all fish were caught on pellet with a pellet/groundbait feeder. Really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back soon.

Four Chub to 3.5lb on trotted corn and standard swimfeeder pellet techniques. A slow but beautiful day, giving my Dad the first taste of the Wye. We will be back.
