Arrived to find a beautiful river, on probably too bright a day! Gin clear water, but plenty of deep runs. Not much in the way of cover, but nice to be able to cast with freedom. there was a rise at lunch time but no fish activity. The only fish I saw all day were fry. A huge thanks to the foundation for sourcing such a stunning stretch. It just needs to be fished in better conditions (or by a more accompilshed Fisherman!)

I have had a disappointing day, river very low and clear. No fish caught, no sign of fish on the whole of the beat.
