Had a great day on this well maintained beat, both caught some nice barbel up to around 8-9lbs with most around 7lbs. Several fish lost to hook pulls in the strong flow, good to speak to Andy the keeper. Dont quite know why we left it 3 years since our last visit but very much looking forward to returning here next trip.

Both of us struggled using feeder so switched to roving around using ledgered meat which resulted in all fish caught.

A lot slower day as the river had dropped back to normal levels. Still a pleasant days fishing

Slower day as river dropped had a nice looking barbel and a few nice chub on the waggler in the slack. 2 big eels as well.

5 barbel and 8 chub for 1 angler and 18 chub and 3 barbel for the other angler. Great day conditions were bang on with a couple of feet of extra water.
