Two hours evening fishing. Fish lying at bottom end of pools and fast water, big hatch but not great rise. Adams fly.-lovely easy accessible wading. Met local farmer-was really interested in the river and fishing. Best think I have done to buy the wild stream permit-

A beautiful beat to fish. 5 small Browns up to 8 inches. 2 on dry gray Wolff 3 on gold head ptn. You have to work hard for your fish as is often the case with small streams but they put up a good fight. River was a bit coloured after rain. All fish returned and healthy.

Had a lovely time, caught one or two fish on small CDC before heavens and dropped a monsoon on us and turned the river the colour of chocolate. So sadly we had to finish at lunch time but we will be back thank you.

Left Worcester in torrential rain and arrived at Titley to a steady downpour. River in good condition to start then became slightly coloured. Variety of sedges and upwing flies including the odd mayfly on the water. Six trout to a combination of small mayfly nymph, wet hares ear and plover and dry mayfly, best 10 inches. Also a minnow. Fished from 10:00 until 17:00 without seeing another person.

I fished from 11-4pm on a warm and humid day. The water was a bit coloured which I wasn't expecting and there weren't many flies about with only 3 fish spotted rising. I
decided to fish with a long rod & french nymphing leader and spent the day lobbing a pair of tungsten beaded nymphs into any water with suitable depth and pace. 20 trout
from 6-14 inches caught including four of 12 inches and over.
There is a large tree that's fallen across the river on the part of the beat downstream of the footbridge.

Weather very warm 25C glorious bright sunny day with a light breeze, perhaps not the best fishing conditions but the fishing really was just an excuse for being there today, this beat is simply wonderful, peaceful and secluded. Lots of fly life noted from the outset with all manner of flies coming off from the smallest to the biggest mayflies, nothing in any great numbers today but judging by the shucks in the margins there'd been quite a hatch of mayflies over the past week or two.
You'd have expected fish to be topping everywhere on a stretch of water like this but it was very difficult to find any, eventually I found a fish taking at the head of a small pool which took my fly the instant it touched the water...which I missed! Then I noticed another just up stream which again took my CDC mayfly very quickly, this time I hooked it but it very quickly threw the hook. That was about all the excitement I had until I returned a little while later and caught the fish I missed at the head of the pool, a very pretty little trout of about 8 inches. A very pleasant few hours thank you WUF.

No fish caught and few signs that said was there 11-16:00. What great place to spend a few hours trying to fish. Access from parking to downstream limited was a little difficult but still a cracking day.
