Hard going in the morning with French leader very cold !! 12 ocklock onwards few fish rising took 2 grayling on top clink n dink

Yet again the big yellow ball in the sky was too bright. All we could manage was 3 grayling to 10”. Loads of fly life, and yet we only saw about half a dozen risers. It was a struggle, but once again, that’s fishin’.

Grayling 1 1/2 lb est ,river low sunny conditions, lovely stretch.

the river had rose and was dropping off and clear the fish had dropped back and we was picking up fish in the tails and off to the side of the main push Dale picked up some nice sized Brown's all caught on the French leader
