Fished beat 6.River very low.Feeder and ledger methods both used.Barbel was around 7pound,chub all around 4-5 pound,minnow was very small.Lovely day had on this beat for the 1st time.Great access.Will visit again.

A lovely day on beat 4 plenty of knocks but nothing really developed. Switched from meat to 8mm pellet, smaller hook and lighter line and bang…..a 12lb+ barbel came to the net followed by a 6lb chub (a PB!) and a little latter a 5lb+ chub ……all fish in perfect condition.

A quiet day on beat 5 in a couple of different swims. Eventually two 5lb + Chubb came in quick succession to Red Robin Luncheon meat on the feeder. Beautiful condition and my first ever Chubb over 5lb….happy days!

Beautiful day for it with the river on its way down but still pretty high. 3 beautiful 2-3 lb chub graced our nets on beat 4. No sign of any barbel though. Although the fishing was slowish the kingfisher kept us entertained all day.

Riover had risen 1.1m overnight, so we arrived to a whirlpool of muddy water. By mid afternoon the river had fallen 60cm and we managed to pull 4 chub out from beat 2.
