Think I've had enough of pulling up Himalayan balsam reckon it'll be good to get back to my local waters where the variety of rhododendrons, giant hogweed, Jap knotweed, signal crays, mink and Himalayan balsam are getting to be the "norm". if as requested in the last e.mail each visiting angler pulls up the Himalayan balsam near to where their fishing and reports any sightings of any of the above non native flora or fauna then the Wye and Usk doesn't have to become the "norm"

Beautiful day on beautiful water. Excellent beats, well managed and maintained. A nice catch of barbel and chub, with a couple of ten pounders. Highly recommended. Lots of grilse bouncing through, and a few coloured up residents on show. Millstone was full of grilse.

All caught on standard feeder & pellet tactics from beat 2 & 4. Vans got licked to death by the cattle when parking just inside field at best 2, only a couple of small scratches but wouldn't park there again. Nice looking stretch of the Wye.
