Hard work in the wind, if it hadn't been for a chin strap the hat would have been lost several times. River in fine condition following the rain. Most taken on a Copper nymph, a couple to a small F fly given the opportunity when the wind dropped in sheltered positions.

River blew out after rainfall the previous night. But surprisingly, fished well on nymphs during the day/ afternoon. Evening was decent for dry fly despite chocolate water.

Quite difficult conditions. Bright and sunny with a strong cool breeze for most of the day. Low water continues with stretches between riffle sections clear and barely moving. No significant hatches through the day or evening. Main action on nymph in upstream section, broken water, 1 brown trout landed and returned.
