Spent 5 hours on this lovely beat. Saw a few fish, but after one cast they were gone so very spooky. Nothing I could throw at them would tempt them so gave up late afternoon. Lots of potential in this beat but seems to be sparse of fish at the moment

Fished this lovely stretch of water but water was a little low. Tried euro nymphing for the first time but no luck. Also tried dry flies in the evening but no luck either. There were very few rising in the evening even though there was a hatch for sure. Saw 2 very large fish jumping, one possible a salmon given its size.

Saw a few large fish in the clear water but they wouldn't tolerate sharing the river despite our best ninja impersonations. Didn't see any smaller fish at all but plenty of goosander about. Could these facts be related?

Nothing happening on the trout front, but i did see a salmon near the deep pool on the bend near the army camp.

Slow Day all round! managed 2 trout to the net and lost one! Some nice water covered to no avail ! Saw 11 cormorant's and 4 goosanders throughout the day which was alarming

Evening ticket. All the action was, as usual, just as it was getting too dark to see so a few takes missed. River at a good height at 0.33 on the Trallong gauge.

The fishing wasn’t as good as I was hoping after the recent rain with only fish up to 13” coming to the net. A variety of up wings were coming of along with sedge but not in any great numbers and the rises were sporadic. A size 18 cdc pale watery worked well. Two open ( Canadian) canoeists came through and one of them got a bit confrontational when I asked if they had checked the red line on the webcam.
