A cold but lovely day on this very nice stretch of water. Fished from around 11:00 until 16:00 with no fish caught.

3 small fish caught off the top with small dry flies during a short hatch early afternoon at the bottom end. Beautiful part of the river.

Bright and sunny, nothing rising. Lovely day but not for fishing!

Just after the bad weather day the water cleared up throughout the day and thought that fishing would be fine... maybe it was the fisherman. tried various nymphs and streamers with no luck.

Low water, not much movement. Needs another wet spell before things pick up.

Sunny ,low water, sparse fly hatches, hard fishing. Will visit again because we know the water is better than this.

Small fish caught, various nymphs, all released

3 rd time on this beat,,hoping 3 rd time lucky,but was not to be. 3 small fish,..French leader nymphs.
Cormorant fishing the pools on the upper beat behind White House ,also mink buy stone bridge.
Only seen 2 rise only.
Some lovely pools,runs and glides on this beat but after given up around 1.45 pm decided to walk back aprox 1 mile trying to spot fish from behind trees and high banks,as water was very clear.,,,and pretty much seen nothing .
Clearly spinning is active on this beat due to seeing lots of heavy mono line hanging from trees.
Think I need to find a beat with more fish.
