Drop in temperature and cold rain all morning didn't do us any favours so pleased to at least have something to report. Shooters turned up mid morning which meant there was a couple of hours when we couldn't have left the upper beat even if we had wanted to, or perhaps more significantly had needed to. Caught on boilies, pellet and bread.

All bites prior to 1pm when river started to rise, 50cm up by 5pm, with a lot of debris coming through. Barbel, 6lb 5oz, fell to meat on feeder tactics. First time on beat, great access, many thanks.
