Smashing day, some olives about, river at summer low, no fish caught.

A lovely day on this beat again if a bit cold, unfortunately no fish this time perhaps a bit early and the water needs to warm up. Will try again later in the season.

Fantastic looking place. Wading could be a bit precarious at times. Saw a good number of March Browns and LDOs hatching but very few fish seen and none caught. Pleasant day cut short by some very unwelcome kayakers who knew very well that they were not supposed to be there.

A seemingly perfect day, but litte fly around and only a couple of fish rising.

River running clear, no sign of fly life. All trout taken on green nymphs .

River crystal clear and running nicely, not much of a hatch and very few rises.

Bright day with a gusty downstream wind. I fished from early afternoon until dusk and saw a trickle of olives popping off at various intervals but only four rises. No fish seen and nothing taken on either dries or nymphs.
Saw one Goosander in the pool after the waterfall on the lowest part of the beat.
Beautiful setting and I will be back.
