Slightly overcast and cooler conditions. The fish started to rise sporadically at about 5pm. Couldn't work out what they were taking. Tried some pheasant tailed nymphs, and gold headed black nymph plus some drys including mayfly and a big fat daddy but sadly no luck! Beautiful sunset before I left which made the evening.

Fish were not sitting in the expected places. Difficult day - maybe because the water is lower than usual.
Very windy at times. Cloudy with episodes of sun.
Enjoyable day nonetheless.
1 in the net, 7 or so lost.

Very windy day. River low and clear. Good hatches of yellow may duns, blue wing olives, olive uprights, peaking during late afternoon but because of the wind, hardly any rising fish. Lots of chub in the margins, smallish fat trout all released.

Arrived around 9:00am and spotted rising fish towards the bottom of the beat in the slacker water. Put on an olive emerger and caught a brownie of around 11" in the shallows. Continued with no more luck. Fish continued to fish sporadically throughout the day - no major fly hatch. Tried other dries and nymphs - no luck. Pretty spot. Low water levels.

My first day out, enjoyed being on the river and amongst the great birdlife.
I'm new to this so no experience (might book a lesson), but as you would expect, very low water, not much activity and no fish caught.

Incredible hatch this afternoon / evening of olive uprights, iron blues, mayflies, midge and a few BWOs. Likely caused by the change in weather and drop in pressure on the day. Fish rising in almost every pool. Landed a good number, but sadly nothing over 2lb.

Hot and sunny with a fresh upstream breeze. Beautiful location but probably not the best conditions. 2 fish best 1lb caught another lost. GRHE successful fly. Access to the beat via 2 gates.

Still low and clear, warm & bright day. Arrived at 12, with rise in full swing (should have arrived earlier), to emergers I'd say. 4 fish, 13 to 16 inches, on PTN and dun (14) later. Not much hatch, or rise, after 1pm. 1 salmon smolt (5 inches, silvered). 4 ospreys
4 Trout
