Nice Stretch, the video about access is very helpfull

Fished downstream as video said water was faster and i thought more oxygenated water would be better with the current conditions.

Floatfished meat after 2 hours without a bite had 4 bites in 4 casts 1 Barbel 2 Chub and lost another Barbel. spent the rest of the day trying the float and the feeder with different bails, Bread, Pellets, Sweetcorn never had another bite

1 Barbel, 2 Chub

Water temp 19.8. Overcast but warmed up in the afternoon as the sun broke through. Fished the float down the bottom end which worked well fo the two in the slightly deeper water but a struggle for the top one of the three. Compared to recent years this was difficult, having to alternate between the deck and up, and meat and pellet, and feeding and casting, and casting and feeding to keep picking off fish. Still, a great stamp of fish and a pleasant day in a great place.

River very low and clear but managed one barbel of around 7lbs on pellet from the faster water and lost a chub from the slower water below the church. Also spotted a large carp basking but soon dissappeared when I put bait in! More kingfishers on this beauiful little stretch than I've seen anywhere else.

Once again it was nice to be on the river, with this being my fellow angler's first trip to Foy. Weather wise, we had the perfect day and although the water level was low there were enough spots to target. We both fished from the nearside bank at the last peg, where we caught 14 chub and 1 barbel. I moved to the middle peg and caught 5 chub and a last cast barbel. I also caught the other from this peg, which was an eel.
We used a variety of hook baits with halibut pellets and halibut luncheon meat being the most successful for 90% of the landed fish, which were all in lovely condition and actually unhooked in the net in the water.

River very low and weedy, bright and hot making very difficult conditions to fish. Left around 1pm.. in hindsight should've cone later and fished into the evening.

River was extremely low the only swim we could access was near the top of the beat so a really slow day. Beautiful stretch of the Wye but with river so low most of the swims were not easily accessible for auld codgers. !! The 2 others were Eels

2 Chub, 2 Other
