french nymphing pocket water, a lot of different water accessible in middle section due to low flows. best fish 2lb most in 8 to 10 inch size bracket. fantastic fish n chips at cafe for lunch.

Bright sunny day, gentle breeze, river low and clear. Started nymph fishing at about 11.30 caught a 1lb fish soon after. By noon olives had started to hatch. Put on a dry, by 3pm, when the hatch dwindled, I had netted 4 more fish, all around a pound or slightly less. As is typical, the best fish came off, it was clear to see whilst playing it.( about 1.5lb)
A very pleasant day.
