We had a very good time and enjoy this beat with the easy access.
It seems the fish have moved from the faster water and and are now in the deeper sections. We worked hard for our fish this time but found them in the end. Great to be on the river with the leaves turning.

A beautiful stretch, plenty of swims at the bottom end. There are a couple of decent swims at the top end but going downstream to the Suspension Bridge swims are very limited. Not worth the price

Fished the bottom section. A cold start followed by a sunny morning and cloudy afternoon. All 5 chub caught on meat using touch leger. Hook pulled on what felt like a good barbel.

Not a good day for fishing. River had risen significantly overnight and a cold night too. Think we were lucky to have anything at all. The barbel was the only bite … a fish of about 7 lb on the feeder.
