Could only get bites using maggots as bait hence the silvers. Others were 2 roach and 9 dace.
Anglers be aware that White House is a working dairy farm and the track is covered with cow muck so when opening/closing barriers you will get mucky footwear and cover your foot mats in cow s--t. Having 4 wheel drive meant I could just about get back up the track in a normal 2 wheel drive vehicle there was no chance. Upstream of the parking area there are no recognisable swims and another angler was fishing the croy pool although I thought I was the only person booked in for that day? WUF you probably need to supply more relevant info for anglers especially regarding access.

A hard day's fishing. Fished hair-rigged halibut pellets with heavy feeders in the receding torrent. Little activity. Fished five swims each from the lower to the upper sections. All fish caught in the shallower, faster water in the lower half of the beat.

River was raging and many of the croys were submerged so we struggled to find a good spot . Ultimately blanked.

Very few pegs available now right of the parking area. Caught all our fish in the faster water using feeder tactics with small hooks and halibut pellet. Best barbel 6lbs and biggest chub 4lb.

An eel about a lbs. Largely unfishable apart from concrete pegs near to parking area. Very shallow downstream of these pegs. Needs pegs cutting into the banks upstream to widen scope of fishing options. No pools capable of holding fish at low river height. Stayed for a couple of hours but gave up. Not worth the money.
