River low now but always a chance here. Saw a fish rise at the bottom of the rectory pool but didn't have a touch

2 fish caught but not landed. River conditions low, weather sunny and windy

Fished 2.30- 8.30 with the gauge at 10” so unsurprisingly, no salmon caught or seen. Some good trout fishing though, most of the fish being caught in the evening above the bridge. There were a lot of small yellow mays on the water followed by a spinner fall which got the trout looking up. May have been a few BWO’s late on as well.

Fished in the evening. A big hatch of flies , not a big rise of trout which seem strange but I was not fishing for them. Nothing caught or seen apart from a couple of Shad

Just fished for a few hours midday. River clearing now if a bit low for most catches. Another salmon blank.

Had a nice fish in the Mill pool on the fly good strong fight and swam away strongly

Brown trout and chub caught.

No salmon seen - gave up and fished for trout. Took three on a dry fly and one on a nymph.

lost a good fish, today on a rapala.
