This was my first attempt at catching wild browns and although the conditions were good, the trout were too quick for me.
Fished for about 3 hours from 9:30 am. I had one serious offer, I had one on which unhooked itself when it leapt clear of the water, and another couple of taps. Overall an enjoyable morning in beautiful surroundings

Reservoir very low at the start of 2022 drought. Had to work hard for 4 fish. Nice mix for the weekend combining with a day on the Ebbw. All fish came to a Captain Peacock.
