Conditions good and a steady flow. Trotting the main flow for barbel but couldn’t get through the chub, however lost count of the chub I caught on the stick. Still a great days fishing with great surroundings. Will be back trotting for the barbel . 1 barbel on the stick worth 20 on the lead.

Overgrown banks with no access to river. Dangerous for anglers to get to waterside. Considering the charge of £50 for 1 adult and 1 child is utterly shameful. The whole stretch is dangerous to negotiate

Fished from dawn to midday switching between trotting and rolling meat.

Just 7 small Dace caught.

Did not fish. Rivers closed the next day and due to conditions and abuse of others fishing in the heat on social media we decided not to travel up from Torquay.

River very low - always coming to struggle for barbel

First time as an Angling Dreams member. Stunning river but very very low. Could see right across river to the bottom. Needs another foot or two on I think to get the fish feeding. That’s my excuse anyway????????

Did not fish, too hot.
