Wet start river rising very coloured caught a lovely 5lb chub all fish caught on Halibut pellet nice section of river. Thanks to the guys that let us fish with them and my fault.

1 Barbel, 5 Chub

Fished top part of beat two 3rds out with feeder and pellet. River coloured and possibly dropped slightly during my session - large 4oz feeder required to hold bottom. Slow start and worked hard for 11 barbel to 8lb 13oz. Very enjoyable day! Loads of beat still to explore and has bags of potential - will return again soon! Thanks WUF!!

Blanked both days, I think the monsoon had something to do with it.

I caught 2no Perch approx l.1b in size. We also found a chap fishing one day with a spinning rod and asked him for his permit to fish this water. He could not so we told him to leave as this was private beat for us to fish under Wye & Usk Foundation.
We found the fishery fantastic place to fish. The water level was a bit low but the barbel were in deeper water. Not a lot of swims to choose from. Lots of salmon jumping 10.1b/15.1b in size.

River still low but some colour. 2 Chub to 4.02 and 1 Barbel 7.08. Lovely day. Thanks to all concerned.

Barbel mainly between 6 and 8 lbs but included 2 around 1.5 lbs which is a great sign for the future. Best fish 9lbs 12 ozs. Chub 3 - 4 lbs. All fish on boilies. Nice beat with good access.

11 Barbel, 4 Chub

Fished all day Saturday and Sunday. Excellent weekend with hectic action at times! River was fairly low but still had a decent amount of water coming through which was cold, hence all fish fought brilliantly and recovered quickly.
Mainly fished the top part of beat casting out into far flow and under bushes using groundbait feeder with pellets and boillies. Most of barbel were around 6-7lb with the odd few weighing 8lb.
Also caught from lower beat in between the trees. Four decent perch were landed with one going 1lb 9oz - lovely fish. 2 dace also graced the bank.
Spotted some Cormorants and a Mink? Top weekend.

Caught all barbel from under the tree opposite the white house on meat.

River had colour and it was a surprise to struggle as it looked perfect.
